President Trump announced on October 11th, that a “Phase One” trade agreement between the United States and China. According to the agreement, the tariff increase set to take effect on October 15, 2019 (increasing List 1, 2 and 3 levies from 25% to 30%) has been postponed.
As of this initial post, There is no word, as of this afternoon, on the deal’s impact for impending List 4b, which was scheduled to become effective on December 15.
